Hi, friend!

Hi friend! I am so glad you have stopped by the site. We have such a wonderful community of moms here and we would LOVE for you to join us as we share life and learn together!

Do You Want Your Mornings To Look Different?

Do You Want Your Mornings To Look Different?

Do you feel stressed before the day begins? Do you want a more disciplined, peaceful start to your day? Do you want to wake up earlier and get more done, but need accountability to do so?

We all know the power of a good morning. Unfortunately, we also know how cozy and tempting those blankets can be!

I think morning discipline is especially difficult in the Trying Seasons of life, whether you are flat-out exhausted from chasing little ones, waking up at night to feed babes, or going from one sickness to another.

But here’s the thing - it is often in these most demanding seasons that we need the benefits of personal morning time. Benefits such as...

  • the chance to lift our anxieties to God
  • uninterrupted time to work on projects we love
  • time to ready ourselves, inside and out before our people need us
  • calm and peace before the day’s stresses

To put it simply, I feel loads better when I start my day purposefully. Have you found the same to be true?

I’ve been working on morning discipline for some time. I’ve learned some little tips and tricks that helped, but for sure the biggest difference-maker? Accountability! Knowing that my friend was also up, was waiting for my text…this was huge in helping me reach my goals.

If this area of morning discipline is one in which you’d like to see improvement, I’d love to have you join me in this year’s Before Breakfast Challenge beginning Monday, January 16.

You can invite a friend (or find one in the group!)

Together, we will set some (personal, attainable) goals for our morning time, and hold each other accountable. 2017, we're coming for ya!

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. (Psalm 5:3)

Blessings,

Jessica Smartt
