Hi, friend!

Hi friend! I am so glad you have stopped by the site. We have such a wonderful community of moms here and we would LOVE for you to join us as we share life and learn together!

Embracing the Silliness {& a Picture Link-Up!}

Sometimes my boys drive me batty. They burp, and make car noises, and spit when they laugh. They leap off of tall buildings (i.e. the bunkbeds), make crazy faces, and scream when they're right next to each other. They want me to be their princess as they defend the kingdom against wacko ninja intruders. And worst of all? They LOVE it when I get down on the floor and wrestle with them. Crazy, right??

They're just plain silly.

And I'm learning to be OK with that.

It's taken me a long time to embrace the silliness. When you're not really a silly person yourself it's hard to get out of your comfort zone, but it can be done. And the results are worth it.

Today, I'm challenging you to do one silly thing with your kids.

Because what seems silly to you is often just good, plain fun to them. And moms need to have fun with their kids, no matter how old they are.

Extra Credit?

While you're out there having fun today, take a snapshot of the silliness and then come back and link it up here at the Better Mom. Put it in a blog post, or upload it to Flickr, Instagram, or Facebook and tag it #BeSilly. You can use old photos too.

Most important? HAVE FUN!

Question? What do you do to have fun and get silly with your kiddos?
