Three Cups Book Review and Giveaway

Teaching children how to save, spend, and be charitable can be as simple as 1, 2, 3!!!  Three Cups is a delightful book!  It is beautifully illustrated, and shares the heartwarming tale of a young boy (based on a true story), who learns how to manage his personal finances and reaps small and then great rewards from doing so.  The three cups represented in the book are a "Give Cup", a "Save Cup", and a "Spend Cup".  I loooove that they have included the "Give Cup", because it is so important to be teaching our children at a young age the importance of giving.  At our house we have a weekly allowance that can be earned, and then extra opportunities to earn money as well.  I have been so inconsistent in this area, and many times I have let my children go and spend it without even thinking of the importance, even at this young age, of teaching the bigger picture of financial responsibility.  I loved teaching this lesson to my children by first reading the story, and then putting in to practice what we had learned by creating 3 cups (jelly jars :)) for each child.  It is really so simple!

Would you like a copy of Three Cups??  You can go here to purchase it, and I am also giving away a copy to one "lucky" reader!  You can enter below!
