Hi Kelly! This looks really neat! I’ve been planning meals for a while but I haven’t seemed to have honed my skill at buying things that can help in later meals and I end up with a bunch 1/3 of a bag of fill-in-the-blank that gets pushed to the back of the pantry and forgotten ( = wasted). I am really working at cutting our food budget. Do your meal plans address that or is it week to week?

Hi, Sarah. I do work to make sure all the food is used that I purchase, so if you follow the meal plans hopefully you won’t have much leftover at the week’s end. Of course, one tip for all those little extra veggies that seem to end up is to make a egg scramble for breakfast using appropriate veggies that work well with eggs like leftover peppers, mushrooms, onion, etc. And I often freeze leftover bits of veggies too for using in stocks/soups. For leftover lettuce, make a salad for one as a side at lunch. Hope this tips also give you a few ideas. Blessings, Kelly
