Hi, friend!

Hi friend! I am so glad you have stopped by the site. We have such a wonderful community of moms here and we would LOVE for you to join us as we share life and learn together!

The Care to Recycle Campaign {do you recycle bathroom products?}

Did you know that each year Americans throw away enough 15-oz. shampoo bottles to fill 1,164 football fields!?!?—that’s more than 18,000 tons of plastic ending up in landfills. Johnson & Johnson has launched a new campaign, Care to Recycle to bring awareness to bathroom recycling and the impact we could all have on our planet just by recycling bathroom products.

I have to be honest. Recycling those small containers in the bathroom has not been a priority to me. #1 they seem so small and #2 well my bathroom isn't exactly close to the recycling bin. But it really is a simple way to prevent literally tons of plastic from littering our earth. Here are a few facts on bathroom recycling I found interesting....

CARE TO RECYCLE™ is that gentle reminder. Soon, you’ll be seeing it on our packaging. And when you come to our CARE TO RECYCLE™ website, you’ll find tips and tools to help you be a better recycler. You’ll also find our CARE TO RECYCLE™ video, that you can share with your friends and family to help spread the word about recycling in the bathroom. It may be a small act, in a small room but when we combine our acts of care, we can have a big impact, in a big world. Together, we can help create a healthy planet for our babies today, and for generations to come.

babiesinheritplanetSo tell me... Do you recycle?? How about recycling products that you use in the bathroom? I would love to hear!
