Almost every child grows up learning this song, but they also quickly learn that the lyrics are a lie. Words are powerful. Words have the ability to strengthen us or slaughter us.  They can shatter our bones just as easy, if not easier, than stick and stones.

Though words can wound, they can just as easily be used as “weapons of good".
