Great Post-Workout Snacks


I get asked this question a lot! Everyone wants to know what the best things are to eat after you exercise. You want your snack to be around 200 calories. Some I have listed below, you can pack with you. Others you'll have to make when you get home. Remember, think of snacking as FUELING your body. That should help you in choosing what you eat!

Here are some of my favorite post-workout snacks!

♦ 8 ounces of low- fat chocolate milk

♦ Low-fat cheese stick and apple

♦ Half of a peanut butter sandwich

♦ Hard-boiled eggs and hand-full of grapes

♦ Tuna Fish and Crackers

♦ Scrambled Egg and Veggie Wrap

♦ Smoothie (Try this one!)

Finally, don't forget to hydrate! Pump up the water intake after exercising. It's so important!
