I remember the look on the nurse’s face. I promptly said, “There is no heartbeat, is there?” All she could do was shake her head in disbelief and say, “I don’t get it. Why does this keep happening?” As I broke down in tears, hopes crushed again, I asked the same question in my head. “Why God? Why does this keep happening? WHY????”
