Welcome to The Better Mom’s bi-weekly meal planning schedule!
As women striving to serve the Lord and our families better, meal planning is a wonderful strategy to help you provide a healthy, home-cooked meal with the awesome added benefit of saving time, money and stress!

Following the two meal plan charts below is a list of links to many of the recipes featured. Our hope is that this will be a great resource and encouragement for you to “keep on truckin” with your own meal plans, or get started if you haven’t yet.

Dinner: Hearty Minestrone Soup, Sourdough Rolls w/Butter and Spinach Salad w/Honey-Mustard Dressing
Lunch: Turkey & Raw Cheese Sandwiches and Sliced Pears
Breakfast: Soaked Banana Nut Bread, Eggs Over Easy and Sliced Pears

Saturday, November 19
Dinner: Crockpot Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Homemade Coleslaw and Cultured Pickles (we like Bubbies Brand)
Dessert: Pumpkin Bars
Lunch: Leftover Hearty Minestrone Soup and Sourdough Rolls w/Butter
Breakfast: Buttermilk Biscuits w/Honey Butter, Cheesy-Basil Eggs and Fresh Berries

Sunday, November 20
Dinner: Sautéed Sea Scallops and Saffron Rice with Peas
Lunch: Leftover Crockpot Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Homemade Coleslaw and Cultured Pickles
Breakfast: Egg & Raw Cheese Biscuit Sandwich and Fruit Smoothie

Thursday, November 23 (Happy Thanksgiving!)
Dinner: We’re celebrating Thanksgiving at my in-laws. I’ll be bringing my famous Homemade Herb Stuffing and dessert.
Dessert: Our Favorite Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Cream Pie
Lunch: Egg Salad Sandwiches and Cultured Pickles (we like Bubbies Brand)
Breakfast: Leftover Power Pancakes, Sausage and Berries

Friday, November 24
Dinner: Thanksgiving Leftovers (yum!)
Lunch: Leftover Potato Corn Chowder, Sourdough Rolls w/Butter and Garden Salad w/Ranch Dressing
Breakfast: Homemade Granola w/Dried Fruit and Boiled Eggs

Saturday, November 25
Dinner: Lentils, Carrots & Swiss Chard w/Leftover Grilled Chicken and Warm Buttered Tortillas
Lunch: Tuna Salad Sandwiches and Cultured Pickles (we like Bubbies Brand)
Breakfast: Pumpkin Pie Muffins, Poached Eggs and Sliced Pears

Sunday, November 26
Dinner: Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce, Garlic Toast and Mesclun Salad w/Raspberry Vinaigrette
Lunch: BLAT Wraps and Sliced Pears
Breakfast: French Toast, Nitrate-Free Bacon and Sliced Strawberries

As we celebrate our country’s national holiday – Thanksgiving – let’s give special thanks to the Lord for providing us the opportunity to freely worship Him and nourish our families with the bounty of His creation!

    I made the oven fried chicken tonight and it was a hit! I made my own breadcrumb by blitzing some bread in the food processor and toasting them in the oven for about half an hour. The chicken was so crispy and the flavor was awesome!!
